PRIVACY

This is a personal site, so there isn’t much here, but this is what happens with anything you share.

The site is run by me, Nick Gasparyan, in Los Angeles. To reach me about anything here, use the contact form.

WHAT I COLLECT AND WHY

If you send a message through the contact form, I get your name, your email, and whatever you wrote. It’s stored in a private spreadsheet that only I can see, and I only use it to reply to you.

If you book a call, Cal.com handles the booking and the calendar invite, and sets a few cookies it needs for that to work. Cal.com’s own privacy policy covers what it does with your details.

Both of those rely on your consent: you choose to send a message or book a call and you can ask me to delete what you sent at any time.

The site uses Framer’s built-in analytics which counts visits without cookies and doesn’t identify you. That, and the basics of running the site, like serving its pages and keeping it secure, rely on my legitimate interest in having a site that works.

If you save a race to the arcade’s leaderboard, it keeps the three initials you enter, your result, and a scrambled copy of a random key your browser holds, so only you can update your entry. It doesn’t keep your IP address or set any cookies.

COOKIES AND STORAGE

The site itself doesn’t set cookies for tracking or advertising. It keeps a few small settings in your browser: your reduce-motion choice, and, until you close the tab, which page you came from and whether you’ve seen the intro. The arcade keeps your best score and sound setting there too.

Cal.com sets a short-lived security cookie when its calendar loads, and the homepage video player remembers your connection speed.

Case study pages embed YouTube videos in YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode. They load when the page opens, before you press play, and may store data in your browser and send usage data to Google. YouTube’s privacy policy ↗ / Google’s privacy policy ↗

On the booking pages, Cal.com may also set its own attribution cookie, which lasts about 90 days and records how you came to Cal.com. Cal.com’s privacy policy ↗

HOW LONG I KEEP IT

Contact form messages: up to 24 months, then deleted. Bookings: as long as Cal.com keeps them under its policy. Leaderboard initials and results: for as long as the leaderboard exists.

The services above may process data in the US and elsewhere, under their own safeguards.

YOUR RIGHTS

I don’t sell or share your personal information, and I respect Global Privacy Control signals.

Wherever you live, you can ask to see, correct or delete what I have about you, object to how I use it, or get a copy to take elsewhere. These cover the GDPR in the EU and UK and the CCPA and CPRA in California, and using them won’t change how I treat you.

Ask through the contact form and I’ll answer within 30 days. If you’re in the EU or UK, you can also complain to your data protection authority.

CHILDREN

This site isn’t meant for anyone under 16 and I don’t knowingly collect their information.
